The adventurers left their camp on the island's east coast and traveled south-west in order enter Ashimwood were a small creek broke through the dense undergrowth. Once inside the forest they continued west until they reached the ruins of Dinesera.

Among the ruins a small orc patrol noticed them, but rather than attacking the adventurers the humanoids ran south as fast as they could. Following the broken branches and dropped equipment left behind by the orcs the party was taken deeper into Ashimwood until they lost sight of the trail.

Just as the adventurers were about to give and turn back to explore the northern part of the forest a worg charged them followed by its orc beastmaster. The worg was easily defeat but just like the patrol, the beastmaster fled deeper into the wood. The adventurers followed.

A short while later the party found themselves engaged in battle with an entire camp of the foul humanoids and their sentient canine guards. The battle was long but the adventurers had become hardened warriors from their prior experiences on the isle and so they emerged victories from the heaps of slaughtered orcs.

As they explored the chieftain's tent the sound of heavy metal boots could be heard from outside. The adventurers hurried out from the tent to investigate.

On the primitive bridge that lead to the orc camp stood a tall and handsome man wearing a full platemail painted in cyan and purple. He identified himself as Malakai the Champion of Change and it was clear that he was in the service of Sasirah. He also indicated that both Anarys and Richard had served their purpose and so he didn't care much if they rescued him or not. He did however warn them that the abandoned temple in which he was being held was a dangerous place. Further he thanked the party for the deeds they had done on the island and told them that they had similar goals. Then he vanished into thin airs, but while doing so he pointed in the direction of the abandoned temple of Sasirah.

The party left the orc camp behind them and went in the direction Malakai had pointed. Here, deep within the forest, they found a clearing but the sky was black and starless eventhough it was in the middle of the day. An eerie green light emmenated from a structure on a small island in the middle of a lake in the clearing. On their way to the structure they passed by several speared corpses some of them seemingly kepts alive by foul magic. A couple of the corpses managed to tear themselves free and attacked the adventurers.

Having defeated the zombies, the party entered the structure itself. A stair led down into an old temple complete with all that you would expect a temple to have. Everything had fallen into decay, though and it seemed like there had been a battle down there less than two weeks ago. Magical fire still burned from were spells had been cast and the corpses of several deformed humans littered the place.

During their exploration the adventurers came upon what seemed to be a fallen warrior of Helm, a wizard that had burned to death and a fighter whom was still alive but irreversibly mad. The survivor fled the temple in haste after having exchanged a few words with the party.

Also of note was a pit in near the temple's main altar. From the dark depths of there the growls of a large, likely extraplanar, creature could be heard.

The party now stands in a corridor within the abandoned temple of Sasirah. It is late afternoon on the 13th of Uktar 1372 DR.

Anarys, Bullin and Kleglag were defeated by a demonic entity in the deepest level of the old temple of Sasirah in Ashimwood.

Their beaten and unconsious bodies were transport from that dark place and to another equally foul location: The prison cells below Sasirah's temple in Niola.

Within their cell they talked to both a priest called Maxiar Blackmane and a possessed individual carrying the voice of Malakai De'Mordeth; Chosen of Sasirah.

The party failed to please Malakai, but it seemed that Maxiar found them ammusing company at least for the moment.

There were also two children in a cell next to the one the adventurers were kept in. These two were LaCosta gypsies, apparantly imprisoned to serve in some sort of experiment that Maxiar Blackmane was preparing.

One of the children, the boy, told the adventurers that he might be able to pick the lock if he had a proper tool to use and so the party tricked the guard to deliver one such to him.

Having recieved the improvised lockpick the boy still refused to attempt an escape. The reason for this was a foul undead minion posted in the chamber outside of the cells.

Presently the party remains within their cell. The time and the date is unknown, but based on the meal they were just served it would be safe to assume it is evening.

Anarys, Bullin and Kleglag made a quick escape from Niola but decided to turn away from the road as they approached the shore of Lake Dinesera. In the distance they could see the fires of what was likely the remenants of the humanoid siege force.

The party swam through the cold waters of Lake Dinesera and made their way into Ashimwood, entering at the location of the ruined town. They then headed south and east towards the ancient temple of Sasirah.

Having destroyed most of the undead abominations on their last visit to the temple the adventurers made it to second level of the complex without facing much resistance.

It quickly became clear that the demon that had defeated them during their last encounter was still present within the pit below the temple.

Not quite convinced that a second battle with the demon would turn out better, the party decided to explore the remaining portion of the level they were on.

They defeated several more zombies and a thing clad in a massive platemail armour that wielded a magical sword.

The party decided against confronting the demon in their present state and left the ancient temple of Sasirah.

They then made their way to Port Deminia in order to re-equip and visit the temple of Helm. On their way there they had two encounters.

The first encounter was with a band of werewolves that charged them from the wilderness boarding the Dark Forest. The were-beasts were easily slain, but it left them wondering if more would be lurking in the region. Furthermore Bullin was bitten by one of the unnatural creatures.

The second encounter was with two LaCosta gypsies. The same two that once had a booth in the harbour district of Port Deminia. One of the gypsies, Nostalia, seemed to know of the deal Anarys had made with Chicken Bone the Voodan. She warned Anarys against failing to honour that deal.

Once within the protective walls of Port Deminia the party went down to the smith. Lagnus the dwarven owner of the smithy bought some of the ancient items they had found in the temple and sold them newly crafted mails and weapons.

On their visit to the general store the party were told that the Isle of Xanieth had proved to be elsewhere after the mists had lifted. Their neighbours were no longer Sembia and the Vast, but rather a chain of small islands and a country called Lamordia.

Puzzled by this new information the party went back outside as Rodon and Lagnus began to close down their shops for the night.
